Cost Optimization Strategies for Cloud Resource Allocation in Multi-Tenant Environments

Cloud computing has enabled scalable and on-demand access to computing resources. However, multi-tenant environments introduce complexity in resource sharing and cost efficiency. This paper explores various cost optimization strategies tailored for cloud resource allocation in multi-tenant environments. We review prior literature, identify key cost-driving factors, and propose policy-driven and dynamic resource allocation models. Two diagrams illustrate system architecture and optimization flow, while two tables present comparative metrics and workload characteristics. Our findings aim to guide cloud architects and administrators toward cost-effective solutions without compromising performance or service-level agreements (SLAs)
