Comparative Analysis of Serverless Computing and Containerized Deployment in Cloud Platforms
Keywords:

The advent of serverless computing and containerized deployment has revolutionized cloud platform architectures by addressing scalability, cost efficiency, and operational complexities. This paper presents a comparative analysis of these two paradigms, emphasizing their respective advantages and limitations in diverse use cases. Serverless computing offers an event-driven model with enhanced resource abstraction, making it ideal for stateless and on-demand workloads. On the other hand, containerized deployment provides a robust environment for isolating applications with improved compatibility and flexibility. The study synthesizes findings from prior research to evaluate performance, cost, scalability, and developer experience. The analysis highlights critical considerations for cloud platform selection and underscores the evolving role of hybrid strategies in optimizing modern cloud infrastructures.
